Apple is expanding Vision Pro’s availability to more countries. The company announced on Thursday that its spatial computing headset will launch in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates on November 15.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s SVP of marketing, said in a post on X, “Apple Vision Pro is coming to South Korea and the United Arab Emirates on November 15! We’re excited that customers in a dozen countries and regions will get to immerse themselves in the world of spatial computing!”

Vision Pro continues its slow international expansion

Apple unveiled the Vision Pro at WWDC23, with the headset finally launching in the US on February 2, 2024. A few months later, Apple launched the mixed reality headset in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore in late June. A few weeks later, the headset went on sale in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK.

While slow, Apple is continuing with Vision Pro’s international expansion. The AR/VR headset will be available in the United Arab Emirates, including Dubai, and South Korea starting November 15. In South Korea, pricing for the headset will begin from KRW 4,990,000, with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage configurations. ZEISS lens inserts are also available — which magnetically attach to the Vision Pro — if you wear vision-correcting lenses.

Customers in both regions can book a 30-minute in-store Vision Pro trial to experience spatial computing.

In its announcement on the South Korean newsroom, Apple says the Vision Pro App Store now has over 2,500 apps. It also highlights the availability of over 150 3D movies.

Interestingly, a recent report suggested Apple could stop Vision Pro production by 2024 end. The company won’t discontinue its expensive headset, though. It will seemingly have enough stock to meet the foreseeable demand.
