iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will come in four colors — white, green, pink and blue — according to a new report Friday. The white model reportedly will replace the yellow seen in the iPhone 15 lineup. The current black color option will disappear. And the shades of green, pink and blue used in iPhone 16 will look different from the current versions of those colors.

We already know plenty about what iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will look like, based on a long string of rumors and leaks. But the exact color of the new iPhones remains a bit of a mystery.
Friday’s report on the new iPhone 16 and 16 Plus colors comes from Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.
“While the phones will all look mostly the same as last year,” he wrote, “Apple is shaking up its color palette…. The non-Pro versions will trade in yellow for white and get new shades of green, pink and blue.”

The Bloomberg article detailed all the product additions we should see at the It’s Glowtime event. Gurman also noted that the event carries high stakes for Apple. The company needs to prove itself to Wall Street as an AI player with the debut of Apple Intelligence. The suite of AI-powered features for writing and other tasks will arrive soon on iPhones, Macs and iPads.
Critically, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max stand out as the only current models capable of running Apple Intelligence. All models in the iPhone 16 lineup will run Apple Intelligence, possibly providing a strong incentive for consumers to upgrade.
Apple recently emerged from an earnings slump, so it needs its new products to become big sellers.
iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colors: gold, black, white and natural titanium
So, what about the high-end iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colors? Previous rumors indicated the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will come in black, white and natural titanium colors, as well as a new gold titanium hue. (So long, blue titanium.) Gurman’s Friday story reiterated those rumors.
“The Pro models will now come in a gold titanium to replace blue titanium, while the black, white and natural options will still be available,” he wrote.
Rumors vary wildly on what, exactly, the gold iPhone 16 Pro might look like. Mockups and renders indicate it could range anywhere from a demure, yellowish gold (appropriate for Apple’s muted color palette for the Pro phones) to a deeper, bronze-inflected color.
