Alleged iPhone 16 dummy units showing off the rear panel’s design and color options leaked in all their glory Tuesday. The picture suggests Apple will return to an iPhone 12-like vertical camera setup on its upcoming non-pro iPhones.

They also show the iPhone 16 in five colors, including pink and mint green shades.

iPhone 16 could use deeper hues for some colors

Supposed iPhone 16 CAD renders leaked in February. Since then, multiple reports claimed that Apple will switch to an iPhone 12-like vertical camera bump on the iPhone 16. The latest dummy unit picture reinforces the rumor while revealing color options Apple plans to offer.

The photo comes from Sonny Dickson, an Apple leaker with a reliable track record. Based on the image he posted Tuesday on X, Apple might launch the iPhone 16 in white, black, blue, green and pink colors. The blue, green and pink shades in the photo exhibit deeper hues than those on the iPhone 15 for a different look. Remember that the final colors could look a bit different since we are looking at iPhone 16 dummy units. Still, they give a good idea of what the iPhone 16 should look like.

While not visible in the picture, rumors indicate Apple will extend the Action button to the non-pro iPhone 16 lineup.

Apple might reserve big changes for Pro lineup this year

So far, all leaks and rumors point to Apple making big changes to the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. Both models could get a 0.2-inch bump in screen size, with the smaller Pro variant also getting a 5x tetraprism camera like the one in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. They might sport higher-capacity batteries with faster charging support, too.

Aside from the new color options, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus apparently will come with a new A18 chip and 8GB RAM, along with a faster modem for better connectivity.
