The Apple TV+ episodes that would ordinarily appear later this week are all instead going to debut on Wednesday, November 22. That includes Lessons in Chemistry, For All Mankind and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
The reason shouldn’t be hard to guess. In the United States, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, and many people will either be traveling to visit family or hosting visiting family members.
All Apple TV+ series appear on Wednesday this week
Even though Hollywood was disrupted by both actors’ and writers’ strikes earlier this year, you can hardly detect that at Apple TV+. There are a number of series premiering new episodes every week. Ordinarily, some of these appear on Friday, but Apple TV+ won’t make us wait for them until after Turkey Day.
Lessons in Chemistry starring Brie Larson is quite a hit, appearing regularly in lists of top 10 most popular streaming shows. Ordinarily, its eighth episode would debut on Friday, but the Apple TV application says it is coming this Wednesday.
The same is true for the alternative-history sci-fi series For All Mankind. The third episode of its fourth season won’t premiere on Friday but two days earlier, on November 22.
And those already hooked on Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, the Apple TV+ series with Godzilla in the cast, will also be able to watch the third episode on Wednesday, not the regularly scheduled Friday.

About timing
The streaming service regularly introduces new episodes at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time (6:00 p.m. West Coast) on the day before the official release date. But not always. So eager viewers should check on Tuesday to see if they can already watch their favorites
Presumably, this is a temporary change because of the major U.S. holiday. Expect the following episodes of all these series to premiere on Friday, December 1.
Watching any or all of these shows comes with a subscription to Apple TV+, which costs $9.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. You also can get it via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle. For a limited time, customers who purchase and activate a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch can enjoy three months of Apple TV+ for free.
The service offers much more, of course. There are dramas, comedies, mysteries, children’s shows, nature documentaries, etc.
