Apple’s powerful yet portable Mac mini is getting its first big discounts. The M4 Mac mini already offers incredible value for money, but the discount makes it an even better deal.

M4 Mac mini delivers big power in a small package
Unveiled in late October, the M4 Mac mini sports a brand-new design. It is the lineup’s first major design overhaul in 14 years. The new design does away with USB-A ports, switching entirely to USB-C. There are five of them: three Thunderbolt 4 (or 5) ports at the rear and two USB-C 10Gbps ports at the front.
Despite the smaller size, the new Mac mini is more powerful than its predecessor. It is even faster than M2 Pro/Max-equipped Macs in many workflows and benchmarks. This is all thanks to the M4 and M4 Pro chip, featuring the “world’s fastest CPU core.”
Besides the faster performance and new design, the M4 Mac mini packs 16GB of unified memory. That’s twice the memory of its predecessor, which will be useful for Apple Intelligence and running other AI tasks.

Even with the new design and doubling of the unified memory, the M4 Mac mini retails for $599—the same price as the previous model. If you take advantage of Amazon’s deal though, you can save $50 on the base Mac mini, bringing its price to $549. The variant with 512GB storage gets a slightly bigger $55 off.
If your workflow demands even more power, get the M4 Pro Mac mini. It is almost as fast as the Mac Studio, delivering impressive performance in a small package. Apple lists the Mac Mini with M4 Pro at $1,499, but Amazon now offers it for just $1,269. This includes an extra $100 off through a coupon discount listed on the page.
There’s one catch, though: your order will only arrive by mid-December. If you don’t mind the long wait, this deal is worth jumping on right away.
