Apple’s recently unveiled M4 MacBook Pro just got a big discount on Amazon. Ahead of Black Friday, the M4 MacBook Pro is currently available for just $1,474 — $125 off the list price.

M4 MacBook Pro is a big leap over its predecessor
Apple’s new M4 MacBook Pro looks the same as previous-gen models, except this time it comes in Space Black. Even the 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display is the same, though it can now hit a higher peak SDR brightness of 1,000 nits.
However, internally, the machine packs some big upgrades. The main highlight is the new M4 chip, which offers a big leap in performance and efficiency.
The SoC packs the “world’s fastest CPU core,” a 10-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, and 16GB of faster unified memory—double that of its predecessor. The 16-core Neural Engine gets even bigger upgrades, with Apple claiming a 3x performance boost in AI workloads over the M1 chip. The power GPU allows the machine to drive two external displays alongside the internal display.
Another key upgrade on the M4 MacBook Pro is an extra Thunderbolt 4 port. Thus, you now get three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI connector, and MagSafe 3 for charging.
Apple also upgraded the webcam with the 2024 refresh, switching to a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View support. If you attend many online meetings, you’ll love the M4 MacBook Pro’s improved camera.
Even after all the performance gains, Apple claims the M4 MacBook Pro lasts an hour longer than the model it replaces.
