Apple’s AirPods Max are a great pair of wireless headphones. But they are too expensive for what they offer. Plus, they don’t work as well with non-Apple devices. Due to these limitations, I got the Bose QuietComfort headphones earlier this year.
For Cyber Monday, these fantastic Bose headphones are down to their lowest price ever. And you should buy them over any other option you might have in mind. Here’s why.

The Bose QuietComfort stands out for its amazing ANC and sound quality. The long battery life and comfortable design act as a cherry on top, making them a great pair of headphones to own.
- Excellent ANC
- Great sound quality
- Long battery life
- Missing support for LDAC and higher bitrate codecs
Bose needs no introduction in the world of audio. The company has been making premium headphones for years, offering great sound quality and excellent ANC.
The Bose QuietComfort is no exception. When I first tried the headphones, I was in awe of their noise-canceling prowess. They filter out the ambient noise with ease and have since become my must-have accessory on long flights or when I need to work on something important without any disturbance.
Another highlight of the Bose QuietComfort is its lightweight design. Before these, I tried several headphones, including high-end cans from Sony, but they felt uncomfortable to wear after a few hours. That’s not the case with the Bose QuietComfort. They are among the most comfortable headphones I have ever used, which further makes them my top recommendation to others.
The QuietComfort are not Bose’s flagship headphones. Yet, you’ll be impressed with their sound quality, with crisp highs and detailed mids. The bass felt a bit flat for my taste, but the equalizer option in the Bose companion app made it effortless to adjust and enhance.

The AirPods Max are no longer my default recommendation for most folks looking to buy a premium pair of headphones. Despite its tight integration with other devices in Apple’s ecosystem, the headphones cannot justify its high price tag with its other limitations. Plus, Apple does not plan on updating the AirPods Max anytime soon.
The Bose QuietComfort typically retails for $349, making them a fair bit cheaper than the AirPods Max. But at their Cyber Monday price of $199, you are saving a whopping $350 over Apple’s headphones. And at this price, no other headphones can beat the QuietComfort’s price-to-performance ratio and value for money.
