The fourth and final season of the madcap workplace comedy Mythic Quest just got a premiere date. Ian, Poppy, David and the rest return to Apple TV+ on January 29.
But that’s not the end. The spinoff Side Quest launches in March.
Mythic Quest season 4! Huzzah!
Those unfortunates unfamiliar with Mythic Quest should know that it’s a gamer-themed workplace comedy. It follows a group of deeply eccentric developers who build worlds, mold heroes and create legends. But their hardest-fought battles don’t take place in the game – they happen in the office.
Apple TV+ says that in season four, “the reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom and everyone tries to have a little more work-life balance.”

Want to go on a Side Quest?
In 2022, Apple TV+ announced a Mythic Quest spin-off series. This has now been renamed Side Quest and given a premiere date: March 26, 2025.
Apple says it “explores the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.”
The series stars McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters, William Stanford Davis, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalita Grant and many more, with different actors taking leading roles in each installment.
There are four episodes in Side Quest, and all are set to debut on March 26.
Watching it or Mythic Quest season 4 show comes with a subscription to Apple TV+. The service is $9.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. You can also get it via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.
And Apple’s streaming video service also includes much more, of course. There’s a library of drama, comedies, musicals, children’s shows, nature documentaries, etc.
