Lots of folks who do live video streaming or video calls opt for purpose-built webcams rather than what comes in laptops or displays. That’s because the standalone cameras usually feature better-quality images and video plus more features in general. Today’s M4 Mac mini user fixes an Obsbot webcam atop his external Lenovo display. We rarely if ever see it, but it packs a lot of interesting features.

Redditor Electrical-Elk-5934 showcased the powerful M4 Mac mini setup in a post entitled, “Obligatory Mini post.” His new M4 Mac mini drives a 27-inch Lenovo ThinkVision P27Q-20 1440p monitor. And his high opinion of M4 Mac mini, redesigned in a smaller but still-potent size, seems to jibe with reviews we’ve seen. That also includes an glowing review by Cult of Mac‘s D. Griffin Jones. So we covered Elk’s M4 Mac mini last week. Today we’ll look at his intriguing and rarely seen webcam, the Osbot Tiny 2 Lite 4K webcam.

But first, here are his peripherals in general, which he outlined when we inquired:

“In the back I have a USB-C hub, which has 2 USB-A, 2 USB-C, an SD card slot a MicroSD card slot and a HDMI port,” Elk said. “I’m using the Logitech MX Keys wireless keyboard and MX Master 3 for Mac mouse, HyperX alloy origins 60% mechanical keyboard and the Corsair Katar Pro XT wired ultralight mouse. My webcam is the Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite, speakers are the Creative Pebble 2, and my microphone is the HyperX SoloCast.” And he added he also uses Sennheiser HD660S2 headphones, a high-quality pair.
