Apple TV+ dropped an odd Severance Morse code teaser video Tuesday that simply spells out “tomorrow,” suggesting news about the workplace thriller’s second season will arrive Wednesday. We expect an air date announcement for fall 2024, and perhaps more.
Apple offered a scant first look at the upcoming season of the hit show during the WWDC24 keynote in June. But other than that, fans of the funny and disturbing workplace thriller have had little to go on — until now (or until tomorrow, that is).

Few shows on Apple TV+ — or any streamer — have garnered as much critical acclaim and fan appreciation as Severance. And Apple TV+ seems to know that any cryptic clue about the award-winning show is going to prompt excitement — even a 15-second video of a light in a dark room blinking “tomorrow” in Morse code, as the show’s moody soundtrack plays in the background.
The short Severance Morse code teaser video suggests news about season two will arrive on July 10. And the most likely news would be an air date announcement, possibly paired with something more, like “first look” images or a trailer.

Of course, season one of Severance premiered on February 18, 2022. Hopefully, we don’t have to wait until the dead of winter for the new season. And fall is a typical time for hit shows to debut new seasons.
But would Apple TV+ resume a hit show right on top of another big show’s new season? The streamer recently said popular espionage thriller Slow Horses would reappear with its fourth season September 4. We’re not sure what the release strategy will be yet for Severance, but we say hit us with both of them at once, and we’ll stave off winter basking in the glow of two of our Apple TV+ favorites.
