Anyone considering the newly launched Mac mini and iMac with the speedy M4 processor needs to watch our video reviews of these new desktops. We talk design and performance… just what you need to know to make a buying decision.
As a bonus, don’t overlook our video review of Apple’s USB-C Magic Trackpad, keyboard and mouse.

Deciding between M4 Mac mini and M4 iMac
Apple just gave consumers two new macOS desktops to choose from. Both are primarily for home use, though some end up in businesses, too.
In some ways, the Mac mini and iMac have much in common. Both use the new Apple M4 processor and offer similar performance. The only difference in this aspect is that the Mac mini can be configured with a more powerful M4 Pro chip, while the iMac cannot.
On the other hand, their exteriors couldn’t be much more different. The iMac is a colorful, all-in-one with a built-in 24-inch screen and comes with a keyboard and mouse or trackpad. The Mac mini is tiny, always silver and lets the user pick their own screen and input devices.
And there’s price, of course. The base model iMac costs $1,299, while the Mac mini starts at $599.
Can’t decide which is better for you? That’s what the reviews are for.
