Here’s your chance to see comedy star Rob McElhenney buck naked (if you’re into that sort of thing). He appears that way in a frenzied new season 4 trailer for workplace comedy Mythic Quest, below. The quick-cutting trailer should get fans of the comedy, set at a California gaming company, pretty excited. And not just for the nudity. Season 4, which looks like it’s full of laughs, debuts soon — January 29.

And don’t forget: The hit comedy spawned a spinoff, Side Quest, which premieres in late March.

Season 4 trailer for gaming workplace comedy Mythic Quest looks pretty nutty

The mile-a-minute trailer for season four of Mythic Quest takes us right back inside the nutty gaming company of the same name. Viewers fell in love with it when the show debuted in early 2020 (including Cult of Mac‘s reviewer). The fictional game Mythic Quest is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The people who made it and struggle to keep it going and growing — founder Ian Grimm (McElhenney), chief coder Poppi Li (Charlotte Nicdao), rising product manager over his head David Brittlesbee (David Hornsby) and more — are a funny bunch of kooks played by some great comedy actors. And the show became a big enough hit that it spun off another show: Side Quest, debuting on Apple TV+ March 26.

Mythic Quest‘s new 10-episode season, from creators Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, airs on Apple TV+ Wednesday, January 29 with the first two episodes. Then a new one follows each Wednesday through March 26. So get ready to welcome back stars McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin. They show up “under the same fluorescent office lights, as the reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape. Stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom and everyone tries to have a little more work work life balance,” Apple TV+ said.

McElhenney and Day executive produce the show under their RCG banner, along with Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel for 3 Arts, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill and Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film & Television, and Lionsgate. Hornsby and Ganz also executive produce.
